Kristi Trimble, MS, LPC

When life gets complicated, it helps to know you’re not alone. Kristi Trimble wants you to recognize that hope is always alive, and there is no shame in going through a rough time. She wants to be that objective and empathetic person to help you through times when life seems overwhelming.

Kristi spent eight years teaching public school, as well as homeschooling her two sons. Her desire to help others spans her entire adult life and led her to obtain her Master’s degree from Liberty University with a double major in Human Services and Counseling.

During her time in the field of counseling, Kristi has worked with individuals of all ages dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relational issues, grief, struggles with self esteem, and problems related to life adjustments. She believes the relationships we have when we’re young shape how we see ourselves and other people. Sometimes they leave us with broken ways of thinking that stick with us and affect how we handle relationships later on. Kristi is experienced in Interpersonal Neurobiology, EFIT (Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy), Trauma-focused CBT, CBT, and IFS through the lens of attachment theory and grace of the Gospel.

She lives with her husband and has two adult sons and two adult stepdaughters. She spends her spare time reading, learning Spanish, taking walks, baking, crafting and arts.
