Dena is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). She obtained a B.A. from Oklahoma Baptist University (2002) and a M.A. in Counseling from Liberty University (2014).
Dena is passionate about helping men and women heal from the past and develop strong healthy relationships in the present. Whether you are suffering from past trauma or adverse life events, compulsive behavior, relationship or sexual problems, depression or anxiety, or any other issue that is keeping you from peace and health, she would love to walk with you to a place of wholeness. She utilizes a wide range of techniques to help her clients reach their goals. Dena has obtained additional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with a focus on somatic and attachment theories to support clients who are affected by adverse life experiences and trauma. She also utilizes hypnotherapy when requested to increase achievement of her client’s goals. She is able to include neurofeedback for clients who are struggling with concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, trauma, sleep problems, and other mood disorders.
Dena attends Immanuel Baptist Church with her husband and three children.
